Ok a hot summers day with the late 1790's and early 1800's ie time for another Empire/Regency post :)

Lovely beauty of the day this had colored miniature painting is just great if you ask me, painting is from around 1805-10.


Now this is what I call a wedding gown! As I have said before wedding gowns should have the wow factor to them and this one does! Wonderful highly ornate gown with loads of silver lace, they used back then real silver and gold threads when putting either embroidery work or threading it threw the lace to give a stunning look to it, and yes this dress is stunning I sincerely wish I had more than one photo of it but sadly no, but I am extremely grateful to have the one that I do! :) This great gown is from around 1800-08, and yeah you guessed I want it! :)






gorgeous pink silk dress from exactly 1800 this dress is simple but all so elegant and I wish it was mine :)


Awesome afternoon/walking dress this awesome stripped ensemble is from exactly 1823 and I love every detail of it, you see in the early 1800's more specialized clothing for different occasions and different times of the day.




Awesome floral print children's dress from 1818-1820, and as you can tell its more of a miniaturized version of a grown ups dress with just a small twist of child like style to it.















Awesome stripped gown from around 1819-23. this wonderful afternoon dress is just perfect its pretty and made to be comfortable too which you didn't see till the 1790's, before we all know clothes where far too constrictive but with the new Empire/Regency clothing you have a classic look and a more free flowing gowns of comfort.






Awesome white stays from around 1800-20 these stays unlike the stays of the 1780's and 70's and 60's and so on where not so tight or constrictive these where made to be far more comfortable and used far less boning than the previous stays these stays where to make the stomach smooth and straight not so much for getting inches off the waist as the previous stays.












Another awesome striped print gown, this one is rather unique as it has rather larger puffed sleeves than what was used for the most part in fashion of the day, but I dare say the lady who had this dress made up expressed to the seamstress or dress maker how much she liked puffed sleeves so that way they incorporated it in to her dress this great dress is from around 1805-12.


Wonderful fashion print from around 1800-08 this print which is hand colored and shows a very classical styled gown but with the modern mob cap and a modern shawl, the great thing about fashion prints that you could either buy individual at a print shop or buy at a dress makers or in a full magazine book, this was such an easy way to get the new styles out and women could deiced which styles they liked and wanted :)








Awesome floral print dress I love everything about this great 1820-26 dress :)









I truly love this white silk gown especially the sleeves everything about this dress is grand and I wish it was mine :) dress is from around 1815-19.








Wonderful cream colored satin silk slippers that are from around 1820-25, and as you can tell in the photos these shoes where not made for right or left foot, you could wear them on any foot, thats how shoes where till the 1870's.
