Beige corset with very light blue lace and peach colored ribbon going through the lace corset has whale bone stays as they where better at having more life than metal stays, now don’t get me wrong metal stays work well too, but they do rust and after years of wear they can break, or constant wear, I remember reading somewhere years ago a story about a Victorian lady who wore her metal stays corset, and she wore it all the time so the stays had rusted and broke and stabbed the poor lady, which is very sad :( Now metal stays are made more rust proof then in the past but its still best to always make sure they haven’t rusted through…Or if you can find old whale bone stays use that.
