Wonderful cream colored silk taffeta with wonderful Chantilly black lace with a black velvet bow at the back and then lace, then a big taffeta bow in the front of the bodice, this dress is just a prime example of an 1862-65 dress, I just love it :)

Ok a touch of the south, aka 1860’s dress :)
This dress reminds me of “Gown with the Wind” I could see either Scarlett or Melanie wearing this fabulous dress! It also makes me think of New Orleans, I could so see a lady taking a stroll in such a dress is this down Royal St. ahhh :)
