1860’s outfit for the day :)

I can’t say this is the dress of the day as I only have a shirt to show you but hey its worth it, its so lovely that I am sure you will all forgive me for my transgression of just putting a shirt instead of the whole gown.

This wonderful iridescent green silk shirt is awesome no other word for it, its just awesome I adore the extreme princess waist on it and how low cut it is, it reminds me of the 1840’s, the gathered sleeves are so pretty with white silk trim, I think this is a great example of the early 1860’s aka 1860-64.
